This "mano a mano" accompanied by four horses will be done on the mystical effluvia of the liturgical works of Tomas Luis de Victoria looking for, says Bartabas, a silent music.

With Loungta, les chevaux de vent (wind horses), Bartabas invites us to discover a spiritual Tibet, transfigured as always by the magic of his art. The tiltle "Loungta, les chevaux de vent" the title designates banners of veils with syllables and sacred phrases recited by monks during funeral ceremonies. The idea for the show came from a visit by Bartabas to the temple of Gyuto in India, where Lamaic monks have been trained since their forced exile from Tibet.

The meeting of Bartabas with Ko Murobushi, one of the artists of the most famous and recognized in Japan as the heir of the rules of Tatsumi Hijikata, at the origin of Butô, appears as exciting one artistic adventure which examines the borders and the passages between two sensitive and exceptional universes.

Bartabas takes us on Victor Segalen's tracks. Between landscapes and calligraphy, suggested China shows itself then the frame of a very intimate journey. For the first time, Bartabas gives a show onto a theater stage: between tulles and kakemonos, shadows and lights, the scenic space metamorphoses. The reality is not comprehensible any more but entr' perceived.
