DVD Chamane
Chamane (Shaman) is the second movie realized by Bartabas, taken out on March 6th, 1996. Escaped from the Gulag on Yakut horses, Dimitri, formerly violinist in Moscow, and an old Shaman run away in the taiga. Before dying, the Shaman reveals to his companion that spirits surround him, and that they will accompany him in the adventures and the meetings towards these unlimitedness where no man can survive only. DVD Mazeppa
Mazeppa is the history of a passion. The exclusive passion which attaches two men to horses. The one runs out wanting to paint them in movement, it is Théodore Géricault, famous artist of the XIXth century. DVD Cabaret de l’Exil – Femmes Persanes
For this third part of the “Cabaret de l’exil”, Bartabas pays tribute to Persian women. Whether they’re Afghan or Iranian, they’re all artists in exile too. Resistant and outraged, they claim their identity and summon their ancient memory ; the one from the ancient Scythian civilisation based on matriarchy. To this nomadic people, the horse was at the origin of a remarkable gender equality : riding long distances and encourage their mount to combat was the prerogative of women as much as it was for men, and all the same for the practice of art. Bartabas invites Iranian artists – musicians, singers and dancers – to join his half-women half-horses tribe and, through the voices of famous and anonymous poetesses, to give voice to the song of a Persian woman freed from her mystical attributes and claiming her right to a passionate love.

DVD Battuta
Just the once will not hurt, Bartabas explores the notion of freedom and has fun with all the dangers. For this creation been born in 2006, the founder of the equestrian theater Zingaro was inspired by the universe of the Gypsies of Central Europe. The artist and the director gathered his best riders and 45 horses. The set is supported by two groups of Rumanian musicians: a brass band of brass instruments native of Moldavia and a set with ropes of Transylvania.

DVD Loungta, les chevaux de vent
With Loungta, les chevaux de vent (wind horses), Bartabas invites us to discover a spiritual Tibet, transfigured as always by the magic of his art. The tiltle "Loungta, les chevaux de vent" the title designates banners of veils with syllables and sacred phrases recited by monks during funeral ceremonies. The idea for the show came from a visit by Bartabas to the temple of Gyuto in India, where Lamaic monks have been trained since their forced exile from Tibet.
